Monterey Jazz Festival - BUCHANAN "A" BAND MADE BUCHANAN and C.U.S.D. HISTORY - AGAIN!!
For those that missed it, BHS "A" band performed at the 50th Anniversary of the Monterey Jazz Festival on Sept. 23, 2007. They ROCKED the house! My best estimation is the Bill Berry Stage building seated about 500 who after hearing our band play, gave them a standing ovation complete with cheers, whistles and even some hollering! I'm sure that was one performance the band & Mr. Lucckesi will never forget. To see pics of the festival, click on over there: PHOTOS. While on the site, click around awhile and you'll find even more pictures, sovenir clothing, and articles galore about all the performers that were there that weekend. They also have an extensive music library as well as bio's and info on probably any jazz musician in the world!
The Fresno Bee and CUSD Today both ran articles, including pictures, of our band at this very special event !! Go here to see!
